Forest Floor Mix

This is a mans floor, Its Cheap, Its solid, Its a Deal, and I Can do It Myself. But really you can get the look of an exotic with the variation for a very cheap price. I think it looks very good in certain style of rooms like the one pictured. I was talking to a local interior designer and she was saying what an awesome floor she did in Brentwood a little while back and I said that is "Forest Mix I have thousands of Feet of that" That is 1.99 sq ft plus delivery and tax.

Faye and Karen

Karen had her living room installed with some utility grade hardwood before I moved down to Nashville. Country Flooring Direct was called to do 3 bedrooms full of furniture take up the existing carpet and dispose of it. She asked me how long it would take to do her 3 rooms and if I planned on putting any holes in her walls, also how did I plan on addressing where the wood met wood and where the vinly met the wood. I assured her that we would not be putting any holes in her walls, and the job would take between 1-2 days, there would be no molding were the wood met wood but Mario would customize one for her vinly so that it would all flow perfectly. I do not sell utility grade wood so we went with some #1 and finished in one day. Here are the pictures. Oh NO Holes in the walls either and Karen wanted Mario to come back and do some side work on her patio when he had the time.

Wayne's purple wood

Wayne came into Country Flooring Direct because the business we share our space with does Home Audio and Wayne wanted a system. However he did mention that he and his wife had an issue with his carpet and wanted me to examin it and give my opinion. The issue with his carpet was that it was totally coming apart at the seam and had gradually gotten worse over time, in my 16 years in this business I have never seen such an issue. I told him I could set him up with an installer to fix it or I had Naturally Purple wood that would match his expensive Purple Carpet. Wayne had told me he would replace the carpet in a year anyways so, he choose the wood. We did the living room hall way and a set of steps in three days. Wayne wanted to know what we were going to do about the rounded wall, Rubber shoe molding addresses your round walls perfectly. What I like about what my installers do on every job is they border things like fireplaces and where the wood meets up with tile, instead of putting in a t-mold.

Moores Construction

Moores Construction, hired me to install some ForesBec 2 1/4 red oak. 5.95 Sq ft for the wood installed including tax. Here are some pictures of the job including pictures of Ian and Shannon Moore. We installed 280 sq ft of hardwood ripped up the existing carpet and a layer of 3/4 mdf plywood in one day.

Paul and Tracys

A freind "Classic Handyman Paul Trout" referred me to these fine people. It started out as a kitchen then a love of the kitchen floor and a hate towards the living room floor turned into another sale the living room. They had 3 dogs and we did not lose one while we were installing the floor. All of this work was done while they were at work. They let us in and came home to a new floor and a clean home.

Ricks carpet installations

Rick came to Country Flooring Direct debating on floorcovering or a new set of speakers his lovely wife came debating hardwood or carpet. They went with carpet in thier living room and wrote me an awesome letter here it is.

I recently had a very good experience buying carpet, after a not so good experience. My wife and I went to a local Lowe's and inquired about recarpeting our great room. We were charged a fee for the individual to come out and measure the room we wanted recarpeted, and were told that money would go towards the installation fee. It too about a week for the person to come and measure our rooms and about another couple of days for a qoute to be given to us. When we recieved the quote we were shocked at the price. that plus, we were told that we would need to have new pad if we wanted the process to be comvered under a warranty. In the store they had three prices shown on all carpets. one price was just for the carpet, one was the carpet and regular pad, and one ws the carpet and premium pad, all being shown in sq footage. After we recieved this price, we contacted a local carpet and hardwood dealer and asked that individual for a price for our great room.
The dealer was Kevin Middleton and he owns Country Flooring Direct in Fairview TN. He chooses Fairview because of lower operating cost that he can pass on to his clients. He told us to come by his showroom or tell him what we were looking for and he would come to our home with samples, and we choose to go by his showroom. When we arrived, Kevin was very professional and showed us hardwoods and carpeting as my wife shoed an interest in his wood flooring after seeing samples he had on display. We evetually went with carpeting and he came to our house to measure the area we wanted carpeted that same day as well as order our carpet. He then told us the day it would be installed and the time his installer would arrive. On the exact date and time he said our carpet would be delivered and installed, his installer arrived with our new carpet.

The installer was clean and very professional and did an excellent job. Kevin told us that when he had carpet installed, he usually reccomended a new pad and that was included in the price of the carpeting, unlike some folks that charged more for a new pad and even more for a premium pad. The kicker to the whole process was that we paid a whole lot less than what we were told it would cost by Lowe's to carpet our great room. our new carpet looks fantastic and my wife and I would recommend Country Flooring Direct to any one who is looking to replace existing carpeting, replace carpeting with wood, or is building and needs new installation. Honesty and dependability at a great price is but a call away to 799-9979.
Rick

I had to rewrite that letter because my computer ate the original but I have it hanging up in my office. I am very grateful for and proud of that letter.

Walter my installer stretching in the room. He is using a power stretcher with poles, the only way the manufacturer will warranty the product is if it is installed this way.

Walter and I cleaning up the jobsite.

5" wide Teak

The Customer wasnt sure what they wanted until they saw the Brazilian Teak, the neutral color tones went with everything in the home and the large in home sample helped them get an idea of what the floor would look like. Also the extra money they would invest upfront in their home seemed well worth it over time. The teak was solid very oily (reacts well in wet conditions) also is 3 times as hard on the janka scale as Oak. We installed 1200 sq ft of 5" solid 3/4 teak with moving the customers furniture taking up the existing floor put up shoe molding around the walls and installed a whole set of steps in 6 days. At the end of the day the customer was very happy and the interior decorator that reccomended us was very impressed.

PJs. Bar

We put in the tile at PJs bar in two days, There was a lot of prep work needed but we got the job done ontime and on budget. And the customer was happy. Below are pictures of the floor being installed and the floor being preped. The tile used was VCT due to its durablity and price.
