Commercial Carpet Cleaning

There are two ways to professionally clean commercial carpet Dry Encapsulation and hot steam extraction.

Dry Encapsulation is a method used mainly in commercial carpet cleaning it utilizes a counter clockwise buffer and a detergent that is dispensed which absorbs the stain.  This method is effective and quick, you can vacuum the encapsulation up after it is dry which normally is 30 minutes after cleaning and you can clean 1000 sq ft in around an hour.  This allows large areas to be done at once also is less invasive due to the very short dry time.  Dry Encapsulation is a preffered method of carpet cleaning for office space, churchs,  and schools.  This method is quick effective and less expensive than hot steam extraction.

Hot Steam extraction is probably what most are used to. Hot water ( Steam ) and a detergent are ran through the carpet and padding and then rinsed.  There can be a pre spray on bad areas and a deoderizer or a scotch guard can be applied during or after the cleaning is done.  This is a more invasive cleaning method, usually dry within 4-6 hours depending on the equipment being used and how humid the air is.  Problems with Steam Cleaning are; you can get wicking, Dry time, cost, time.  Steam cleaning is more invasive there should be a very powerful motor attached outside in a van or truck to suck the water out of your house, because you are cleaning the carpet from the bottom up you can get old stains to reappear from the padding called wicking.  You will have a longer dry time, If you have a residential carpet I reccomend a steam cleaning if you have commercial carpet I feel it is best to use Dry Encapsulation.
