How to seam carpet

Im Sorry these pictures are out of order but they do show my guys have the carpet in the room set their main stretch and are making the seam.
They have the main piece cut and situated in the room.
Now that they have row cut both sides of the seam and the tape is under the carpet they are ready to start
They place the iron on the tape allowing the glue to melt
Then move the iron along the tape about 6 inches to a foot the iron should glide on the wet glue.
With your fingers bring both edges together so there is not a gap.
Roll the seam with the tractor roller to push the glue in the backing of the carpet.
Place a weight on the seam.
Move the iron up another notch so you can proceed making the seam.
The Carpet is already powerstretched in the length of the carpet and held on by the pins of the tack strip.
After the seam has dried about 45 minutes we will proceed in stretching in the other direction.
You will notice that the carpet is tucked in under the baseboard on the wall and is straight this is important because we have to tie this carpet in with the hallway carpet after this seam is done we will proceed to seam the bedroom carpet to the hallway carpet.
